Canadair Squadron No. 588 of the Air Cadet League of Canada has been a going concern all Summer long with parades scheduled twice weekly. An average turnout of eighty boys of a possible 100 is quite remarkable when it is realized that this is a "cation season.

The lads have been quick to catch on to the various drill formations and Officer Commanding Eric Simms expects to have them out on an official parade early in the Fall. Various items of uniform have been issued and within a few weeks the squadron will be fully uniformed. During the Summer months the cadets have been drilling in smart blue shorts and white T-shirts which were supplied by the Company.

In future issues of the "News" a standard column suitably titled will feature all air cadet activity.
